Successor of Canon 700D or Rebel T5i is likely to be released in the 2nd Quarter 2015. Rumors say that it will be Canon’s first DSLR cameras that use the electronic viewfinder (EVF). It also will use a 20MP sensor as used in the Canon 70D Mk II, where this sensor uses a dual-pixel technology for AF system. It will use DIGIC 6 processor like most of Canon’s new cameras.
The use EVF technology in DSLR camera relatively new. All this time, DSLR camera always use optical viewfinder. While the EVF is identical to the mirrorless camera. There is no clarity of how this new technology will be implemented. Canon EOS 700D will be the entry-level cameras that will combine the latest technology and design maturity.
